Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives within the mortgage intermediary sector.

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key mortgage intermediaries, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

  • Identify new business opportunities and work collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams to maximise growth potential.

  • Conduct regular meetings and presentations with intermediaries to promote my client's products and services.

  • Provide ongoing support and training to intermediaries, ensuring they are well-equipped to offer my client's mortgage products to their customers.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge.

  • Prepare and deliver detailed reports on account performance, sales activity, and market feedback to senior management.

  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to enhance brand presence and build professional relationships.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in a key account management role within the mortgage intermediary industry.

  • Strong understanding of the mortgage market, products, and regulatory environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Proficient in using CRM software and other relevant tools to manage accounts and track performance.

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

  • Relevant industry qualifications or certifications are a plus.
