Fabulous opportunity for a qualified accountant with TV & Film experience to join an award winning, multi-genre, production company on a fixed term basis.From the start, this highly talented team has been responsible for bringing a multitude of powerful and entertaining programmes to our screens that include Bafta-winning dramas and high-end documentaries.Based in the West End this role will report directly to the COO, supporting the business on their continued success story through the provision of financial management. You will also provide financial information to their corporate shareholders.To be a suitable candidate ideally, you will be fully/professionally qualified (Finalists with extensive relevant experience might be considered) but it is essential that you have relevant accounting experience gained within the TV industry. You will be a natural people-person with the ability to present financial information to this creative business in a digestible manner.This is a great, opportunity to join a highly creative, TV producer in a varied and interesting role.This is a hybrid role requiring you in the Central London/Zone 1 offices at least 3 days a week. This is a fixed term contract for 12-14 months, looking for a Feb/Mar 2026 start.Responsibilities of the role include:Prepare monthly management accounts to include P&L, Balance Sheet, accruals/prepayments, variance etcManage the forecasting pack to include cashflow management, P&L analysis, business performance, forecast deviationsReport and present monthly financial information to corporate stakeholders/parent company, including forecast, variancesAd hoc reporting, including budget reporting and quarterly budget against forecastResponsibility for audit and statutory compliance, acting as lead contact for internal and external audits, preparing audit schedules, and producing annual statutory accounts and filings.Work closely with Production Execs/Managers, ensuring production costs are managed against budgetOversee the production accountants on scripted projects, consolidating the production accounts into month endManage a Finance Assistant, overseeing all the transactional finances (AP, AR, Bank Rex, Payroll)Responsible for UK tax credit submissions for all productionsManage VAT submissions, including SPV & groupAdministration of financial systems and governance, including SPV, new entity and bank account setup, project setup, access controls, and adherence to accounting standardsAssist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis to support business decisions Candidate specification:Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent), with a minimum of 4 years PQERelevant experience in TV Production, Entertainment, Media or similar environment is essentialProven background in Management Accounting, month end and analysisStrong attention to detail, self motivated, and deadline orientatedExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsLogical approach, solutions orientatedStrong technical knowledge (UK/US GAAP) alongside experience of managing the annual auditAdvanced Excel with great analytical skillsPlease note only suitable applicants will be contacted regarding this position.
