Job Summary:

As the DevRel Lead at Morph, you will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with developers, driving the adoption of our blockchain solutions, and ensuring a seamless developer experience. You will lead a team of developer advocates and work closely with engineering, product, and marketing teams to create and execute strategies that support our developer community. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for blockchain technology.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive developer relations strategy to increase awareness, adoption, and advocacy of Morph’s blockchain solutions.
  • Build and manage a high-performing DevRel team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support.
  • Engage with the developer community through various channels, including social media, forums, events, webinars, and hackathons.
  • Create and deliver technical content, such as blog posts, tutorials, documentation, and sample code, to educate and empower developers.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to gather developer feedback and insights, ensuring our products meet the needs of the developer community.
  • Organize and participate in developer-focused events, conferences, and meetups to promote Morph and connect with developers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key influencers, partners, and stakeholders in the blockchain and developer ecosystems.
  • Monitor and analyze key metrics to measure the effectiveness of developer relations initiatives and continuously improve our strategies.
  • Advocate for developers internally, ensuring their needs and feedback are represented in product discussions and decision-making processes.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Solid experience in developer relations, developer advocacy, or a related role, with a strong focus on blockchain/Web3 technology.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience creating technical content, such as tutorials, documentation, and sample code.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with developers, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel for events, conferences, and meetups as needed.
  • Good communication skills and public speaking skills
  • Ability to create and delivery video/written technical content and can code themselves.
  • Passionate about developer education.
  • Strong at creating Developer community strategies
  • Deep insight in where good developer communities exist and how to engage/interact with them
  • Chronically online, ability to notice patterns and trends and move quickly in spinning up a POC on the Morph testnet for devs
  • Candidates with more experience will also be considered for Lead/Director role.
