**The role**

Reporting to the Head of People Operations and Development you will provide
comprehensive administrative support for a dedicated sector that contributes
to the delivery of high-quality People processes in line with our Build Sure
commitments and values.

* Coordinate onboarding processes, including new employee orientation, training schedules, and paperwork completion.
* Maintain and update employee records in Dayforce in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
* Ensure accurate entry and maintenance of employee data in HRIS systems.
* Support the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.
* Ensure employees understand and comply with company policies.
* Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely submission.
* Address employee queries and provide support on HR-related issues.
* Assist in resolving employee concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
* Support HR initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement.
* Assist with the preparation of HR reports,presentations, and correspondence.
* Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the HR department

**Your profile**

**Essential**

* Experience of providing administrative support, preferably within a professional HR shared service environment.
* Experience of preparing and delivering standard documentation
* Experience of using a variety of systems and databases including accurate keyboard skills and a good working knowledge of MS Office
* Experience of Excel (with the ability to use formulas)
* Experience with HRIS software
* Experience of prioritising, planning and delivering own workload to tight deadlines
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
* Knowledge of HR practices and employment law.

**Desired**

* CIPD CIPP qualification or working towards
* Previous experience of working within the construction sector
