An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Justice Worker to join the Justice Practice Team.In collaboration with Social Workers the Justice Worker will support people in prison or the community on a statutory or voluntary basis contributing to safety planning risk assessment and risk management services and interventions to reduce reoffending vulnerability and harm and support desistance and wellbeing. We offer a high level of training to support continuous professional development and to deliver a broad range of interventions including established accredited group work programmes.Justice social work services are provided within the framework of the Social Work (Scotland) Act 1968 National Objectives and Standards for Social Work Services in the Criminal Justice System and Council policies and guidelines.If you would like to have an informal discussion regarding this post please email This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. You will be required to provide this check.
