This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work within a professional dedicated and supportive team and service.To work within Justice as a Social Worker undertaking a range of social work tasks with clients in contact with the Criminal Justice System on both a statutory and voluntary basis. To deliver these services in accordance with National Outcomes and Standards for Social Work Services in the Criminal Justice System.If you would like to have an informal discussion about this post please emailCandidates will have a Social Work (or equivalent) qualification recognised by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and be registered or eligible to register with the addition they will be trained in and have experience of using risk assessment tools and leading risk management processes.This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check.
