Shift: Monday-Friday

40 hours per weeek

Some weekend and Bank Holiday work may be required

What we are looking for:

Someone to maintain buildings (internally and externally), out-buildings, yards, and services tothe required and recognized standards within the required building regulations. Toassist with the supervision of contractors.

Demonstrates an advanced level of knowledge to ensure the upkeep of facilities andstandards

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Basic level of general education.
  • 1+ years of related experience within a manufacturing / engineering environment.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • PC literate including MS Office.
  • Previous experience of using ERP System (preferred).
  • Plumbing skills (C&G).
  • Basic D.I.Y skills; stud wall's, plastering etc.

Key responsabilities:

  • Responsible for adhering to all relevant standards and legal requirements.
  • Supports the execution of Risk Assessments, Safety Walks (operations), 5S audits and Layered Audits (operational) associated with scope of facilities role.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the working areas is left in a safe and clean state after completing a task.
  • Responsible for the disposal of any waste according to environmental guidelines.
  • Responsible for escalating any concerns about non-confirming activities (including processes) utilities and facilities.
  • Responsible for Work Instruction updates and amendments.
  • Responsible for the adoption of lean philosophies, lean processes, and improvement / CI activities.
  • Participates in consultation for internal and external non-compliance matters.
