As a Maintenance Technician, reporting to the Maintenance & Facilities Manager, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the manufacturing site. Key responsibilities include: Conducting a rigorous programme of planned preventive maintenance for all process machinery and equipment. Performing routine maintenance, fault finding, problem-solving, and minor repairs to minimise downtime. Completing maintenance logs and schedules accurately and promptly. Coordinating with external contractors and ensuring adequate supplies of spare parts. Conducting regular health and safety checks and inspections, taking corrective actions as needed. Handling minor mechanical and electrical repairs related to buildings and utilities. Ensuring adherence to quality procedures, such as the calibration of measuring equipment. Communicating process changes and reporting major breakdowns or significant issues to relevant personnel. Liaising with customers and suppliers to clarify technical details and resolve problems. We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience: A minimum of 4 years' experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role, with both mechanical and electrical expertise. Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician within a manufacturing environment, adept at machinery repairs, fault finding, and problem-solving. Familiarity with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment. Experience with sewing machines, cutting, and pressing machinery is advantageous. Additional Benefits
