Purpose:
To run the day-to-day HR functions of the People & Culture Department, ensuring a best practice approach to all aspects of PCT delivery. To suggest and develop people initiatives and solutions that support Manolo Blahnik Culture and business strategy. An ambassador for Manolo Blahnik values and to ensure Team MB are a recognised, engaged and motivated workforce. Responsible for management and development of People & Culture Assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational excellence
- Employee Engagement: Ensure the Manolo Blahnik culture is one of engagement with a highly motivated workforce.
- Employee Relations: For UK & EMEA employees, provide advice, guidance and coaching to employees and managers on all aspects of the employee lifecycle and people processes in a fair, timely and compliant manner. Partner with External Lawyers, where necessary.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and keep up to date on employment legislation changes ensuring these are reflected within UK & EMEA PCT operations.
- HR Processes: Anticipate future business needs and create and/or update policies, procedures and guidelines as and when required to ensure compliance across the business.
- HRIS: Responsible for ensuring the system is up to date and ‘source of truth’ for all employee data.Run reports and analysis as and when required.
- Performance Reviews: Manage the Performance Appraisal process and ensure follow up for any identified training needs that will enhance growth and development.
- Learning and Development: Support the Learning and Development Manager to develop L&D strategies, as well as delivery for any People and Culture specific trainings.
- Recruitment: Work with Talent Acquisition Partner to ensure that all recruitment needs are addressed and that the recruitment process represents MBIL.
- Benefits & Wellness Programme: Manage the relationships with any external benefits providers. Make suggestions on any benefits that could be considered to enhance the MB offering.
- Budget: Responsible for tracking HR Budget spend.
- Payroll (UK and International): Work alongside our external payroll bureaus to ensure the accurate processing of monthly payroll.
Strategy and analysis
- Support in the creation of PCT Strategy and support in its implementation.
- Support in the delivery of the Company strategy by working cross-functionally with relevant stakeholders.
- Culture Development: Collaborate with leadership to define and communicate the company’s value, mission, and vision. Lead initiatives that enhance employee engagement and foster and sense of community globally.
- Compliance and Reporting: Manage audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Organisation Design: Support Head Of People and Chief People Officer on the design and delivery of Organisational Design.
- Diversity, Equality & Inclusion: Support on DE&I initiatives and ensure HR policies and practices are inclusive and promote equal opportunities for all employees.
Leadership and mentoring
- Manage and develop People & Culture Assistant; coach and mentor by setting daily and weekly goals.
Any other tasks as requested.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Level 5 CIPD qualification.
- Substantial experience in HR role, preferably within a luxury brand, to include experience across the HR spectrum; Employee Relations, Talent and Development, recruitment, managing change and culture, Learning and Development, Reward, Recognition and Organisational Design.
- Experience implementing people strategy and operating in a culture led organisation.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.Network: Ability to build relationships and network easily, both internally and externallyCommunication and Interpersonal: Strong and effective presentation skills and ability to converse with a diverse range of people at all levels, with tact and diplomacy.Pace: Ability to work in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment by being flexible and adaptable; remain calm.Intellect: Excellent analytical, report-writing skills, accuracy and attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills with a strong, solution-based mindset. Ability to prioritise tasks, and ensure delivery of results within tight deadlines.Proficient in MS Office
- Excellence: High level of finesse and excellence required in delivery of all tasks. Accuracy: High level of accuracy required in all tasks.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Skills and Experience Desired:
- International HR experience.
- Payroll Management experience.
- HRIS experience – preferably SAP SuccessFactors.
