As my UK based client with a presence across the US and Europe continues to grow they are seeking an experienced laravel engineer to work on complex issues that have already been triaged by their helpdesk.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Service and maintain the help desk, addressing incoming tickets efficiently
  • Develop and maintain Laravel-based projects
  • Interact directly with clients to understand and resolve their issues
  • Handle a variety of tasks with differing levels of complexity
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, adapting quickly to different codebases and requirements
  • Participate in writing automated tests for software projects
  • Conduct manual testing to ensure software quality and functionality


Required Skills and Qualifications:


  • Proficiency in PHP and Laravel framework
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue)
  • Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQL
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Familiarity with API development and integration
  • Advanced troubleshooting and debugging skills
