PHP Developer - Technical Transformation

Fruition IT is working with a well-established tech-first business that is embarking on a complete technical transformation. This client is looking for an experienced PHP Developer to work on a bespoke software platform as part of the business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop a bespoke SaaS product using PHP and Node JS.
  • Work closely with agile teams to meet software deliverables and support continuous integration.
  • Develop backend software in Java for a high-load environment.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure high-quality code.
  • Work in an AWS environment and have experience with Terraform and microservices.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Backend Engineer.
  • PHP development experience and knowledge of PHP Frameworks Laravel and Symfony.
  • Understanding of Javascript, Typescript, and React on the frontend.
  • Cloud exposure, ideally in AWS, but Azure or GCP is also acceptable.
  • Experience with RDBMS - MySQL.
  • Knowledge of microservices and REST APIs.
