We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join our team at Noux Talent. As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side web applications, ensuring consistency and performance in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain functional, reliable, and scalable PHP-based web applications.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to work with large datasets and improve application performance.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle (design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance).
  • Maintain LAMP server configurations and perform basic server administration tasks such as applying security patches.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing code to improve performance and security.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and security best practices.

Requirements:

  • Ideally you will have some commercial experience as a PHP Developer.
  • Good understanding of object-oriented PHP.
  • Familiarity with the full web development process (design, development, testing, and deployment).
  • Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JQuery.
  • Experience working with LAMP installations (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP).
  • Passionate about technology, with a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Team player with strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.

This is a Hybrid role, the team currently work together in the office 3 x days a week with the other 2 x days being remote. The office is in walking distance from the train station.
