AESC is creating this new role to lead the Company’s Treasury related activities within the UK and Europe. The role will report to the European CFO but with strong links to both the Global Treasury team based in the US, and the plant Finance and Accounting teams. A Treasury background in a multinational company is essential, with hands on experience of cash management and forecasting, FX and interest rate hedging programmes, debt maintenance and compliance all being necessary.The ideal candidate will:Be a self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and can work in close collaboration with regional and global finance teams and other cross functional teams to solve complex problemsDemonstrate success in handling a multi-site cash forecasting framework and be able to manage the cash forecast with high level of accuracyBe able to support day to day payment processing of domestic and international transactionsBe able to maintain relationships with banks and other internal and external customersBe managing corporate banking structure activities such as opening accounts, closing accounts, maintaining bank signatories, etc.Be responsible for oversight and implementation of effective controls around cash management, including fraud mitigationAct as primary contact for all banking KYC, SOX, Internal Audit and Finance inquiries as it relates to cash and bankingMonitor and manage the ongoing internal and external compliance reporting requirements for all debt obligations, including establishing procedures to facilitate the timely preparation of accurate reporting of borrowing base certificates, interest accrual schedules, intercompany loan reporting, and covenant forecastingManage FX exposure analysis, hedging program maintenance, quarterly and monthly reportingHandle ad-hoc Treasury projects and presentations for TreasuryPreferred Qualifications Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of relevant post qualification work experienceStrong analytical, problem solving and treasury accounting skillsOutstanding verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with different business partnersHigh level of initiative, motivation and curiosityEmphasis on consistently producing high quality resultsAbility to work effectively on a dynamic team in a fast-paced environmentAbility to deal with ambiguityStrong technical skills in Excel, and treasury applicationsWorking knowledge of SAP preferred but not required
