- Lead the operational Treasury team through effective planning, organisation and delivery of a consistently exceptional service to the business.
- Maintain high-quality processes and reporting, ensure absolute compliance with the law(s), compliance with lenders’ covenant requirements, any shareholder information and governance needs, and group Treasury policies and standards.
- Continuously develop the professional standards of Treasury team members.
- Maintain transformation: complete the build of the function and TMS and continue to optimise functional processes to meet the changing needs of the business.

- Capability to become a key senior leader of Arriva, helping drive the business forward through excellent stakeholder management, influence, and leading by example.
- Focus towards targets, with proven ability to deliver outstanding results.
- Natural communication skills verbally, written and numerically with excellent people skills and ability to work collaboratively across their team and wider business.
- Ability to communicate technical topics at a level that individuals outside of a Treasury specialism would understand and act upon.
- Influential negotiation and project management skills.
- Ability to confidently present.
- Excel skills in financial modelling.
