Working closely with the Gas Services team, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling work associated with the annual gas service programme and cyclical testing programmes across our customers homes. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule work associated with annual gas service programme and cyclical testing programmes across Incommunities properties.
  • Liaise directly with the engineers to schedule work and arrange access for servicing.
  • Co-ordination and management of Gas service & Cyclical testing appointments.
  • Support engineers on site and from the office with queries and problems on the job.
  • Work closely with the Legal Team to initiate Injunction proceedings when access cannot be gained to properties and prepare necessary paperwork to take appropriate action in relation to Incommunities' statutory obligations including court attendance when appropriate.
  • Responsible for serving court documentation to our customers, before and after court proceedings. 
  • Support customers to comply with the requirements of Incommunities' statutory obligations in relation to Gas servicing & Cyclical testing and where there is none-compliance, support the Legal Team to take appropriate action.
  • Attend site meetings as necessary in relation to the prime objectives of the post.
  • Liaise with colleagues and other partner organisations to identify vulnerable customers and put in place appropriate measures and /or support to gain access to their homes for the annual Gas safety check & EICRs.
  • Collectively identify opportunities for Incommunities to develop strategies and anticipate and control risks.
  • Promote and support high standards of customer care throughout the organisation and with external contractors.
  • Support the Gas Managers & Electrical Managers , M&E Planning Officers and  Senior Planning Officer to maintain and keep up to date gas servicing & electrical testing records and associated databases.
  • Assist the Gas Manager & Electrical managers with contractor liaison and formal contract meetings for external contracts.
  • Collect, analyse and report on gas compliance / Electrical compliance statistics at the direction of the Gas Manager / Electrical Manager  or senior management.
  • Continuously review processes and identify improvement opportunities in relation to the prime objectives of the post.

Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience, you will need to have great communication skills and be confident and assertive when needed.
  • Good knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Excellent IT skills in order to operate multiple systems.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • The ability to multi task and work under pressure.
  • A high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Experience of working in a highly demanding, pressurised environment.
  • Driving licence with own vehicle as you will be expected to attend home visits.
