Commercial Actuary Lifetime Mortgages

Were recruiting for a Commercial Actuary to join our dynamic Lifetime Mortgage Pricing Team here at L&G.In this role you will support the commercial management of our Lifetime Mortgage business by delivering innovative solutions that create long-term value for our customers and stakeholders. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of our Lifetime Mortgage business in a role where you can influence product development and commercial strategy across both UK and international markets.This is a hybrid working opportunity which means you can split your working week flexibly between your home and our London office in Moorgate to help you achieve a work-life balance that works for you.Please Note Whilst this role is advertised as a Full-Time position we would also consider more flexible working arrangements as well as Part-Time workers for this role.What youll be doing:Collaborating with lenders to bring new product initiatives to marketSupporting the development of retirement lending propositions across geographiesLiaising with actuarial teams to align pricing strategies with business goalsEnsuring Lifetime Mortgages are accurately reflected in financial reportingOptimising the performance of securitisation structuresMonitoring regulatory developments and assessing their impact on propositionsContributing to product design conversations to better meet customer needsEmbedding Treating Customers Fairly principles into processes and controlsQualifications : Who were looking for:Qualified actuary (FIA/FFA or equivalent) with relevant life office or consultancy experienceStrong understanding of actuarial techniques and regulatory frameworks (e.g. Solvency II)Commercial and/or pricing experience ideally within Lifetime Mortgages or product developmentExcellent analytical and judgement skills with a commercial mindsetAbility to communicate complex ideas clearly to a range of stakeholdersFlexible and adaptable approach to change and innovationCommitment to delivering good customer outcomesCollaborative team player with a drive for achievement and continuous improvementWhatever your role we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
