Senior Actuary – Retail (Lifetime Mortgages / Equity Release) London (Hybrid) | 6–12 Month Contract An established UK financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Actuary to join its Retail Actuarial function on an interim basis. The role will focus on the pricing, analysis, and performance monitoring of Lifetime Mortgage (LTM) products, ensuring models and assumptions are robust and commercially aligned. You’ll also provide actuarial expertise to product and finance teams, supporting new initiatives and ongoing product management. Key Responsibilities Lead the pricing and performance analysis of Lifetime Mortgage products. Develop and enhance actuarial models and tools used across Retail Pricing. Produce regular pricing MI and reporting for internal stakeholders and external funders. Support product reviews, ad-hoc actuarial queries, and customer pricing exceptions. Collaborate with proposition, finance, and risk teams to align pricing with business objectives. Coach and mentor junior actuarial team members. About You Qualified (FIA/FFA) or nearly qualified actuary with 5+ years’ experience in life insurance. Proven Lifetime Mortgage / Equity Release pricing experience. Strong technical skills in Excel/VBA, with experience building and maintaining pricing models. Confident communicator with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical teams. Collaborative mindset with a strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
