Head/Director of Sales – UK and Europe
At LED Flex, a pioneer in linear LED luminaires, we are seeking a highly organised and proactive Head/Director of sales for UK and Europe. To provide exceptional support to our Global Sales Director by identifying market opportunities through networking, events and other channels within the architectural and design communities. Meeting existing and potential clients and building positive relationships and driving new business with your existing network. Role Responsibilities:
· Drive the Specification and purchase of the company's products. Create demand primarily amongst the lighting design community but also with architects, M&E consultants, housing developers and electrical contractors.
● Utilise your expertise in lighting and understanding of clients' lighting requirements to strengthen existing relationships and maximise turnover.
● Understanding and communicating the organisation’s value propositions and processes through proposals and presentations.
● Manage, support and mentor the business development, sales and quotation teams to develop customer relations, increase market share and sales revenue.
● Generate marketplace and new customer reports for Directors.
● Accurate data recording, logging new client details and project information ready for handover to the Projects team.
● Proactively maintain awareness of competitor activity and market trends.
Your Profile:
As the Head/Director of Sales for UK and Europe you will be responsible for driving the UK and European sales growth by establishing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers within the architectural and design community.
· 5-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field within the Lighting/Construction industry
· A high calibre commercial individual. Enthusiastic, ambitious with a drive to grow the LEDFLEX profile
● Strong understanding of lighting design principles, LED technology, lighting controls and architectural specifications.
● Able to cultivate warm and productive industry relationships and lead and mentor the Business Development, Sales and Quotation teams.
● Utilize your expertise to identify and secure high-value contracts, demonstrating exceptional negotiation skills.
● Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build valuable connections.
