At TXP, you can multiply your potential.We are seeking a commercially astute and technically strong Group Financial Controller to lead the finance function of a dynamic, medium-sized technology, consulting and resourcing business. The role is ideal for a qualified Audit Manager (Big 4) looking to make their first move into industry, or an experienced Financial Controller from a technology services organisation, offering exposure to both operational finance and strategic decision-making in a fast paced, PE-backed environment. This hybrid role involves working 2-3 days per week from our Birmingham offices, located at Fort Dunlop, Fort Parkway.Key Responsibilities:Own the month-end close process and preparation of management accounts across all entitiesLead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow managementLead and develop the finance team across the TXP Group, driving best practice and high performance.Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controlsManage external audits and liaise with auditors and advisorsSupport the CFO with investor reporting and board packsDrive improvements in financial systems, processes, and reportingPartner with operational teams to provide financial insight and support decision-makingOversee tax, treasury, and statutory reporting requirementsSupport the business with M&A requirements due diligence and integrationSkills & Experience: Experience ACA/ACCA qualified, ideally from a Big 4 or Top 10 firmStrong technical accounting knowledge (UK GAAP/IFRS). International experience would be an advantageExperience with audit, controls, and financial reportingCommercial mindset with an interest in business operationsComfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environmentAttention to Detail: Precision in financial reporting and compliance. Ability to identify anomalies and ensure data accuracy.Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills and financial insight.
