Service ManagerLocation: S6 2UW SheffieldSalary: 33961 then yearly increments up to 38752Contract Type: Full-time PermanentAbout the RoleWere looking for an experienced and compassionate Service Manager to join our dedicated team in Sheffield.As the Service Manager you will provide strong visible leadership for our St Barts team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service supervising the team and promoting the service. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager to make a meaningful contribution to our St Barts service and create a positive environment to encourage service users to feel empowered to achieve their personal goals and lead fulfilling lives.The successful candidate will have extensive experience working with people with multiple complex needs including autism; learning disabilities and diagnosed mental health conditions. You will have a broad understanding and knowledge of mental health pathways and psychological interventions. Above all we are looking for an empathic person-centred and understanding individual to help support and lead the team.General TasksBe the main point of contact for staff commissioners and external agencies.Promote the service to a wide audience building strong relationships with stakeholders.Monitor and improve service delivery ensuring it meets high standards and supports recovery.Lead and supervise the Team Leader and Recovery Case Workers fostering a culture of good practice.Oversee property and VOID management including inspections repairs and tenancy transitions.Champion creative trauma-informed approaches to reduce inequality and promote mental health recovery.Stay informed on mental health and learning disability pathways policies and best practices.Act as the safeguarding lead ensuring safety and compliance across the service.RequirementsEducated to degree level in a relevant field (mental health psychology health and social care)Level 3 5 in management and/or coaching or be willing to undertakeAn individual who embraces challenges enthusiasticallyAn understand of the principles of Psychologically Informed Environments and Trauma Informed PracticeAt least 5 years experience of supporting people with multiple complex needs particularly with mental health and learning disabilitiesAt least 3 years experience in the management of commissioned servicesExperience of building successful professional relationships with stakeholdersExperience of writing reportsEvidence of continuing professional developmentA full UK driving license and access to a roadworthy vehicleAbout UsTarget Housing is a charity dedicated to making a difference to the lives of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people within our society.
