The Role:25k-28k Full time - Edinburgh EH3 8EHWe are currently recruiting for a FM Coordinator to join our public sector and work in a revolutionary way at clients sites with a real focus on workplace and customer this forward-thinking role you will be enlisted to oversee total facilities management service delivery at the site in Edinburgh. A very customer orientated position you will be responsible for supporting the Workplace Liaison Manager ensuring the company delivers its contractual obligations on time. The successful candidate will be required to work from the clients site and will report directly into the Workplace Liaison Manager. You will be rewarded with salary reflective of background skill set and experience.Day to day:Responsible for the delivery of all hard and soft services including support for cleaning housekeeping emergency call out PPM reactive repair as required on a site by site basis including the direction supervision and oversight of subcontracted servicesPromotes high level of satisfaction among customer/end-users by anticipation and promptly responding to their service requirementsAlways assures prompt response by other team members and selected contractors to exceed customer expectationsGives direction on site to promote engagement and excellence in customer service and deliveryUnderstanding of the critical systems on site including UPS generator fire alarm etc with an ability to provide facilities support to the client businessEnsures compliance with local legislative requirements Integral and client best practice policies and proceduresActs as go-to person in relation to all facilities activities on sites ensuring potential roadblocks are identified and removedSupports emergency preparedness and crisis planning on a site by site basisDevelops a close working relationship with all vendors under his/her control to ensure full understanding of the Client culture and inclusion in the team delivering a high-quality service.Is the first point of contact relating to all building issuesEnsures delivery of PPM in line with agreed timelines and monitors vendors to ensure service delivery in line with KPI/SLAsMonitors and ensures office housekeeping and cleanliness is delivered to highest quality levelCommunicates in an open honest transparent manner with the ability to tailor the message to specific audience and their needsAdds value in delivery and innovationOversees delivery of Service Charged elements of property management on behalf of the client where services are delivered by the LandlordEssential Skills experience and qualifications:Knowledge within the Facilities Maintenance sector with some technical experiencePrevious experience in a similar roleUnderstanding of UK health and safety requirementsMechanical organisational interpersonal and IT skillsAbility to multitask and possess the physical capability to engage in manual labourCourteous and helpful approach with strong communication skills both verbal and writtenAbility to prioritise tasks work to deadlines with minimal supervisionProactive approach to identifying and rectifying matters relating to the buildingAble to manage/support crisis situationsSelf-motivated and can work independentlyExcellent admin skillsEmployee Benefits:25 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata into shifts for shift workers)Company funded health cash planAbility to buy and sell holidays buy 5 days & sell 2 daysLife assuranceAuto-enrolment company pension schemeEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Cycle to work schemePurchase an electric vehicle via salary sacrificeEmployee discounts with various brandsLearning and development programs training and career opportunities.What you can expect from usYoull join an entrepreneurial inclusive culture.
