Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for an experienced Housing Services Manager to join a social housing organisation on a permanent basis

Responsibilities of the Housing Services Manager:

  • Aim for high performing service delivery that minimises arrears and maximises income through a variety of proactive ways
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Income Officers to maximise the collection and recovery of current and former rents, service charges and other charges
  • Ensure the rent and service charge setting process is managed and maintained
  • Oversee and manage Former Tenant Arrears and recharges
  • Implement health and safety policies and procedures, carrying out suitable and sufficient risk assessments according to risk assessment procedures
  • Work with your team and internal departments, partners and stakeholders to improve service delivery and ensure our tenants receive an excellent service
  • Assist in the implementation and review of relevant policies and processes ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements and good practice

Essential for the Housing Services Manager:

  • At least 2 years' experience in social housing with a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Housing legislation
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and motivate staff, preferably in a housing management environment
