Acorn Insurance are looking for Property Damage motor Insurance Handler who will be trained and developed to effectively manage a portfolio of motor Insurance claims. As part of your ongoing training, you will be provided with the right skills in commercial decision making to ensure indemnity spend is minimised to correctly manage a third party claim following a road traffic collision.
Through full training and continuous coaching in-house you will be given full in-depth FCA regulated industry knowledge and have all the tools necessary to help you personally grow your career with the business and service our customers with all complex queries.
Role: Property Damage Claims Handler
Working hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm, 37.5 hours per week
Location: Liverpool City Centre
Salary: Between £24,255 to £28,007
What you will be doing:
- all motor claims for indemnity and fraud
- and correct assessment of liability following investigations of a road traffic collision
- quantum assessment of third party vehicle damages presented using the relevant tools available to assist and further losses relating to motor insurance claims.
- of accurate reserves in line with company guidelines
- to best practice and key strategies
- file and portfolio management
- other Ad hoc task as the needs of the business dictate
- for own performance against set objectives
