Harmans Water Primary School are inviting applications for a school cleaner to work on a fixed term temporary contract up to 31st August 2026:Monday to Fridaybetween 3.30 and 5.30 p.m. Term Time only plus 10 days during school holidays as follows:The equivalent of 3 days (6 hours) to be combined and undertaken on the last 2 days of the Easter Holiday break 9am to 12 noon dailyThe equivalent of 5 days (10 hours) to be combined and undertaken on the last 2 days of the Summer Holiday break 9am to 2.30pm daily to include a half hour unpaid break for lunchThe equivalent of 2 days (4 hours) to be combined and undertaken on the last day of the Christmas break 9am to 1pm.All deep clean days are outside of School inset days and you will be advised of the actual days and dates at the start of each academic yearAnnual leave is not permitted to be taken during term time and must also not coincide with the deep cleaning dates.There will also be an additional ad-hoc 10 hours to be worked per academic year - to be negotiated accordingly.You would be working as part of a team and the positions involve ensuring designated areas of the school are kept in a clean and hygienic condition - work areas include classrooms toilets cloakrooms corridors etc.You will be a valued member of our cleaning team reporting directly to the Site Controller.We need a person who is enthusiastic and energetic and able to manage their workload in an efficient way.
