Material Handler People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Material Handler to join our well-established client based in Leicester.This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and long-term ongoing work. ShiftsMonday to Friday: 06:00 – 14:00 / 14:00 – 22:00 (Weekly Rotational Shift Pattern) Rates of Pay£12.21 – £24.42 per hour Benefits• Excellent hourly rate• Ongoing work• Weekly pay• Overtime available• On-site canteen• Opportunities to become permanent• Free parking• Serviced by public transport links• Immediate starts available Day-to-Day Duties• Transfer raw materials, WIP, and finished goods between units and around the premises• Load finished goods into trailers• Take delivery of goods, assign goods received numbers, and complete relevant paperwork• Arrange down packs as required using down packing sheets• Ensure transportation of chemicals and stock complies with Health & Safety standards• Ensure waste is stored correctly and securely• Provide cover for Production and Warehouse staff as required• Securely strap pallets of stock ready for transportation• Support stock takes as required, ensuring stock control systems are up to date Essential Skills• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence and proven operating experience• Strong material handling experience• Good literacy and numeracy skills• Previous warehouse experience• Basic computer skills• Ability to work independently or as part of a team• Minimum six months' experience in a similar role• Understanding of quality control processes• Strong communication and multitasking skills• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail• Good organisational skills• Reliable and self-motivated Desirable Experience• GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or above)• Bendi/Flexi licence advantageous Training Provided• Full industry-related training and ongoing support throughout ApplyIf you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more.
