**About the role**:

- We are looking for someone to be responsible for the efficient movement and storage of material within the warehouse. Working part a team, the role includes picking, packing and all other important functions that ensure the safe and accurate handling of our materials. We will also be providing training on safely shunting vehicles.

**Responsible for**:

- Ensuring materials are accurately picked, checked and packed to company standards.
- Adhering to all set out processes of picking from the correct locations.
- Movement of materials to agreed locations in a timely and safe manner.
- Load consignments onto our own transport and 3 party carriers.
- Completing all paperwork requirements, ensuring goods are checked and labelled correctly.
- Maintain a clean and organised environment by assisting the cleaning duties.
- Work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure the smooth warehouse operations.
- Reporting any incidents such as near misses in line with company policy.

**Accountable for**:

- Safe operations of the company’s FLT fleet and any other equipment which has been trained out and signed off.

**What experience do you need to have**:

- Must have a valid UK manual driving licence
- A valid counterbalance or Reach Forklift Truck licence is essential
- Ideally have previous experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
