**Warehouse Operative**

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our small team. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for picking, packing, and producing orders in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that all products are properly handled and shipped out to our customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Accurately pick and pack orders in accordance with the company's procedures and quality standards
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet trucks, to move products and materials around the warehouse.
- Conduct quality control checks on products to ensure they meet our company's standards.
- Work with other members of the team to ensure that all orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Ensure that the warehouse is always kept clean and tidy.
- Assist in the production of products as required, following production schedules and instructions.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures in the warehouse.
- Report any issues or concerns to management in a timely manner.
- Assist in the undertaking and completion of Stock Takes
- Any other duties that may be required from time to time for the smooth running of the business.

**Requirements**:

- Have previous experience working in a warehouse environment (this is desirable but not essential)
- Conscientious, reliable, with good attendance and timekeeping standards.
- Honest, trustworthy, and able to work unsupervised.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills;
- Keen to learn and acquire new skills, responds positively to feedback;
- Flexible, adaptable, and calm when working under pressure and meeting production deadlines.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment, including pallet trucks.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to use warehouse management systems.

**Salary**: £10.55 per hour
