Intro
This is a European-region role working with the R2R Process Owner to shape the European-wide R2R functional organisation. You will assist in the creation of Centres of Excellence in R2R activities enabling streamlined delivery to business divisions for period-end reporting. An initial 6-month contract with the potential to go permanent. This role will help create and shape a best-practice R2R functional operation across Europe.
Role
An experienced European R2R Manager supporting:
- Functional R2R organisation across the European region
- Development of Centres of Excellence in R2R Operations
- Driving organisational and operational change
- Shared Service Centre activity management
- Key record-to-report month-end close activities
- Ensuring timely and accurate month-end close
- Plus end-to-end process improvements.
You will collaborate with FP&A, Group Finance, and an outsourced Shared Service Centre to maintain high-quality financial data across the European region.
About You
The ideal candidate:
- Qualified accountant with extensive experience in a financial control environment and IFRS accounting.
- Proven track record of managing activities provided by a finance shared service provider (SSC) and working in a multi-cultural, preferably European, setting.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Strong communication and networking skills
- Ability to manage and mentor a team effectively.
- Experience with systems such as Trintech Cadency, Hyperion, SAP S4Hana, and BOFC is advantageous.
- A self-driven, motivated professional, you can prioritize workloads to meet tight deadlines and willing to travel as needed.
The Offer
Initially a 6-month contract with the potential to go permanent. Day rate £400pd (inside IR35). Hybrid working available.
