Payroll Administrator

Amazing opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join one of Gloucestershire’s standout businesses with a fantastic heritage. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you’ll be an integral part of a fun, friendly, and fast-paced team that fosters a collaborative and people-centred culture, promoting professional growth and career advancement.
Key responsibilities include effectively operating an in-house monthly payroll system and ensuring deadlines are adhered to. You will administer the T&A system (Kronos), communicate with sites and employees, process starters, leavers, variations, and statutory payments, and ensure GDPR internal controls are enforced.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills, have an eye for detail, and a willingness to learn and grow with the business. They will excel in accurate record-keeping and problem-solving. Personal development is encouraged, and CIPP support will be provided.
Nice to have’s but not essential.
- Ability to learn at a fast pace through self-study and tuition.
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
- Build strong relationship with staff, management, and customs to deliver optimum service levels, maintain trust and exceed expectation
- Previous experience in a payroll position
- Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
