Quantity Surveyor - Bristol (Hybrid) £48,000 to £60,000 + packageA leading design-and-build contractor delivering a complex infrastructure framework across the region is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their busy and growing commercial team in Bristol. This business operates at a national scale, delivering high-value frameworks and capital programmes.Role Overview Reporting to the Project Commercial Lead, the Quantity Surveyor will manage a portfolio of projects on this high profile utilities framework. Project values will vary from £5m to £15m and you'll be given the opportunity to put your own mark on each project. The role requires full ownership of commercial and contractual delivery, cost control, and performance reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare applications, valuations, and cost/value reconciliationsMaintain cost control and forecasting across allocated packagesProduce and analyse weekly and monthly reports on value, cost, and cash flowManage supply chain engagement, negotiation, and performanceSupport risk and value management processesAdminister NEC contracts and maintain accurate commercial documentationLead subcontract procurement and contract setupAdvise project teams on contractual and commercial mattersEnsure compliance with project safety and quality proceduresLiaise with site teams, subcontractors, and client representatives Essential RequirementsDegree in Quantity Surveying or equivalentProven experience with a main contractorStrong knowledge of NEC forms of contract Desirable RequirementsBackground in water or regulated infrastructure projectsAlready chartered or working towards chartered status The successful Quantity Surveyor can expect a rewarding career that includes excellent career progression, the support of an experienced and motivated team and a strong work life balance.
