Are you looking to shape Health & Safety across both factory floors and live construction environments?This is your opportunity to take ownership of Health & Safety for a long-established UK manufacturer with several local production facilities and a wide range of installation and construction activities across the region.You’ll play a key role in shaping culture across both factory and site environments - supporting managers, coaching teams and ensuring safe, consistent operations every day. With direct access to senior leadership, you’ll be trusted, visible and able to influence how the function develops.What You’ll Be DoingLead Health & Safety across multiple manufacturing facilities and active construction/installation sites across the Midlands and South EnglandCarry out regular inspections and audits across factories and sites - ensuring safe equipment use, lifting operations, strong RAMS and effective subcontractor controlDevelop and improve H&S documentation including risk assessments, RAMS and SSOWSupport and coach supervisors, site managers and production managers to strengthen day-to-day safety leadership and behavioursLead accident and incident investigations, ensuring clear actions and meaningful learningDeliver internal H&S training and toolbox talks and maintain constructive relationships with regulatory bodiesWhat We’re Looking ForA blend of manufacturing and construction/site experience - experience in either environment with strong transferable skills will also be consideredUnderstanding of machinery/equipment safety, workplace transport, lifting operations and construction-phase risksPractical experience working with subcontractors, RAMS, crane operations, scaffolding or site-based installation activitiesNEBOSH Diploma or equivalent level H&S qualification (or NEBOSH Certificate with highly relevant experience)Confident communicator able to challenge appropriately while building trust across diverse teamsFull UK driving licenceWhat’s On OfferA competitive basic salary of £50,000 - £60,000Fully funded EV company car (Tesla)Mileage reimbursed at HMRC EV rate25 days paid holiday plus bank holidaysPension SchemeLaptop, phone and travel expenses paid1-2 days per week home working once establishedFlexible working hours around role requirementsWhy Join?A high-impact, autonomous role where you can shape the Health & Safety functionDirect access to senior leadership in an open, collaborative environmentStrong foundations already in place - with space to refine, improve and influence cultureA stable, long-established business entering an exciting phase of operational developmentThe chance to work across both manufacturing and construction environments, offering genuine variety and career developmentIf you’re a motivated and people-focused Health & Safety professional looking to make an impact across both manufacturing and construction environments, we’d love to hear from you.Apply now through Sustainable Futures Group (SFG) – Global Recruitment Experts in Health, Safety & Sustainability.
