Company Overview: My client is a leading online software retailer with offices in Reading, Berkshire, England, USA and Asia. They specialise in marketing and selling software components and tools to developers. Their products are sold exclusively through a global e-commerce website.


Personal Attributes:

  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of consistently producing high-quality content.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in using PCs, Windows, Word, and Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of computing and software is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update brand and product listings on e-commerce websites.
  • Manage product data to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Collect and organize marketing materials, such as product descriptions, screenshots, license agreements, and documentation.
  • Publish and update specific web pages on the company's sites.
  • Post product news and updates daily.
  • Send marketing emails on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Assist in managing Google AdWords and Google Shopping Ads.
  • Evaluate product and advert performance using a range of analysis tools such as Excel, SemRush, and Woopra.
  • Contribute to the production of print catalogues.
  • Assist in translating content for the websites.
  • Communicate with software publishers via email and phone regarding product issues.
  • Coordinate with the Customer Services/Sales department on customer issues.
  • Collaborate with the IT/Development department on technical issues.
  • Report to the Head of Product Management.
  • Utilise Word, Excel, Outlook, RT, and Versionista daily.
