Job Title: Field Service EngineerLocation: Home-based, Midlands (with occasional travel outside the area)Pay Range/details: Competitive salary + Benefits + Overtime + Company vehicle Contract Type: PermanentOur client are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer based in the Midlands to join their growing team.Key Responsibilities – Field Service EngineerInstall investigate and repair electrical and mechanical machine faults on advanced printing equipmentPlan and prepare correct parts equipment and resources for assigned repairs in a timely mannerCommunicate escalations problems concerns or delays clearly to CSC Supervisor and Customer with follow-up reports where requiredAssist customers and internal staff with spare parts identificationTake ownership of assigned faults and provide clear verbal and written communication to customersSupport colleagues and other SSUs when neededDemonstrate flexibility with start finish times overnight stays and cross-skilling Provide helpdesk telephone and remote support when requiredObserve Health and Safety and Working Time regulationsAdhere to Company handbook policies and proceduresQualifications & Requirements – Field Service EngineerRecognised engineering qualification such as BTEC City & Guilds or equivalent Broad expertise in electrical mechanical and computer-based engineering Proven experience maintaining commercial equipment in production environments both independently and in teamsConsistently positive customer-focused attitudeStrong team player with initiative to meet service targets and KPIsExcellent communication IT and customer liaison skillsWhat we can offer – Field Service Engineer Fully home-based Midlands role with occasional travelVaried and challenging workload across cutting-edge printing technology Supportive collaborative team with ongoing training and cross-skillingFlexible working patterns including overnight staysCompetitive salary comprehensive benefits and career progressionFor more information on this role, please contact Charlie Boulton on 01453 852544 or email to charlie.boulton@omegaresource.co.uk Candidates who are currently a Field Service Engineer, Mechatronics Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer or Service Technician may be suitable for this positionFor details of other opportunities available within your chosen field please visit our website www.omegaresource.co.uk
