Remuneration: £35,000 + Overtime

(Overtime 1.5x weekly, 2x Saturday, 3x Bank Holidays)

This is an excellent opportunity for a field based Engineer to join a prominent manufacturing business that supplies a range of special purpose machinery to UK and global customers.

You will predominantly be covering a regional East Midlands area covering the likes of Birmingham, Leicester, Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas.

You'll likely come from a machinery or automation background, and be familiar working on a range of special purpose machinery, from commissioning to fault finding and repair.

Work/life balance is important to this business, therefore your workloads and be carefully monitored by your expert support team.

Duties
- Undertaking commissioning of new machinery at customer site.
- Fault diagnosis and repair of products on customer site.
- Co-ordination and delivery of ‘after sales’ upgrades and/or refits.
- Producing detailed Service Reports following site visits.
- Providing telephone technical support to customers.
- Identifying sales opportunities through upgrades, repairs, and customer on-site opportunities.

- Experience of Electrical & Mechanical engineering.
- Experience working in the field.
- Familiarity with special purpose machinery.
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Additional Information
- Regional Coverage (Midlands) - Birmingham, Leicester, Milton Keynes, etc.
- Occasional Overnight stays for complex jobs.
- Additional pay for overnight stays as well as hotel/meals coverage.
- Full access to company van with necessary tools and equipment.
