This is a full-time permanent position offering flexible working (4 days in the office 1 day at home) Basic salary is £50k with uncapped commission.  We are currently looking for a Bid Manager to expand our industry leading bid writing team. This team are key in securing new, sustainable, and profitable work in the public sector and this role is to work within our Bid Team to manage multiple complex bids.Responsibilities of the Bid Manager - • Managing the timeline and production of multiple consecutive bids • Coordinating a team of bid writers • Reviewing and providing feedback on the responses written by the bid team• Supporting with bid/no bid decisions• Writing and delivering compelling presentations to potential customers• Performance management of a team of bid writers• Maintaining excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders• Producing regular training for the teams continually developmentSkills and Experience required for the Bid Writer – • Ability to succeed under pressure to meet tender deadlines• Proficiency in the MS Office suite• Self-motivated to ensure every tender you manage is of the highest possible standard• Experience in both writing and managing high volumes of bids• Ability to drive results• Excellent time management skills• A close attention to detail• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Experience line managing a team• Experience within the language services industry• Educated to degree level or relevant qualification e.g. APMPFull details of the Bid Manager role are available on application.
