We have a high profile and rapid paced role within the Digital & Design Support services team for a HR / Payroll Specialist. You will need to be a strong collaborator, working closely with suppliers, senior leaders, customers and other guides all focussed on delivering the best outcomes for clients.

 

Not only with you have the variety of all of the various clients we work with, but you will cover 2 key areas ; BAU Change and Transformation projects. You will champion the use and value of data in decision-making and reporting. You will use technology to make the best use of leading SAAS IT to deliver solutions to meet customer needs.

You will be based commuting distance from one of our Centres of Excellence in either Newport, Blackpool, York or Newcastle, to enable you to work in the way that suits you best, whilst also meeting up with colleagues and clients. Whilst SSCL support home working wherever practicable, do expect some travel with the role, as you can appreciate nothing can beat the value of a face to face meeting

What you'll be doing:

  • Verify design and build components and work closely with clients and suppliers in a hands-on assurance role.
  • Using your existing experience, but also be willing to learn, understanding detailed functional elements of existing and future SaaS solutions.
  • Providing support for delivery teams and clients across the organisation to help resolve new and emerging live issues, interpreting business requirements and how these maybe delivered in an agile environment.
  • Ability to understand and relay detailed business processes to both internal and external collaborators at both a strategic and operational level.
  • To provide support on data migration approaches across all functional areas, ensuring the integrity of the multi-functional approach.
  • Make sure that any digital product design is based on a deep understanding of end user issues and requirements and that all viable opportunities to optimise the end user experience are appropriately considered and prioritised.
  • Ability to seek opportunities for expansion of services across different clients and produce cases to support innovations.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience in key functional areas within HR / payroll and data migration.
  • Prior experience of integrated ERP systems i.e. Oracle, SAP workday, Sage, so that solutions can be developed to meet client needs.
  • Exposure to transformation projects, with an understanding of data cleansing, data mapping documents, conversion documents and migration routines, to be able to provide assurance on migration projects.
  • Ability to lead and navigate change.
  • Ability to influence the behaviour of others.
  • Seek to identify areas of weakness and recommend improvements.
