You will be working directly with the UK's top grocery customers, Tesco, Sainsburys, Ocado, Booths etc... Your role will focus on winning new business and growing customer accounts through solid joint business plan creation and execution. You will be the direct contact for our key customers, working with them on day to day account management for your customers. With a focus on achieving volume, profit and new revenue targets. You will have complete autonomy over your customer account base, supported by our experienced sales team.

Responsibilities:
- Driving sales growth across key UK retail customer accounts, such as Ocado, Booths, Sainsburys and Tesco.
- Winning new business with the best UK retailers and ensure relationships are meaningful and longlasting.
- Working with customers to create credible and profitable joint business plans that work for both parties.
- Creating best-in-class media marketing campaigns to drive brand penetration and rate of sales.
- Working cross functionally with key internal stakeholders, operations, logistics, finance and marketing to ensure smooth business execution.
- Delivering strong internal sales plans inline with Volume, GP and new revenue targets. - Reporting sales performance internally and externally, for both internal stake holders and key customer accounts.
- Building long-term and meaningful relationships with customers and strategic partners.
- Any other reasonable management request.
Skills Required:
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office suite - Outlook, Excel and Word
- Solid understanding and love of data will be an advantage - experience with Excel SS is required
- Relationship-building skills are key to delivering excellent customer plans and growth
- Team player - working cross-functionally to ensure key deliverables are met
- Adaptable and flexible - we are a growing business acting at pace
- Passionate - a passion for the food industry would be greatly appreciated
Relevant Experience:
- Experience in the food industry or FMCG sector would be an advantage
- Proven account development skills
- Evidence of utilising and driving a customer contact strategy
- Excellent communication, organisational and presentation skills
- Proven ability to handle, evaluate and utilise sales data and insights effectively
- Experience of negotiation and trading matters to a reasonable level
- Evidence of supporting, executing and delivering business plans and/or KPI's
- Self-starter with a focus on results and the customer
- Proven track record of achievement
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £35,000.00 per year
