The Client:

Our client, a well-established accountancy firm, specialises in delivering tailored services to local business owners and individuals.

The Role:

As aPractice Accountant, you will oversee the entire accounting process from beginning to end.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep financial records accurate and current.
  • Manage VAT returns and ensure they are submitted on time.
  • Prepare and file corporation tax returns.
  • Compile and review year-end accounts.
  • Prepare management accounts and financial reports.

Requirements:

  • Previously worked as an Practice Accountant or in a similar role.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a the UK accounting practice.
  • Understanding of UK accounting principles and tax regulations.
  • Familiarity with end-to-end accounting, bookkeeping, VAT, corporation tax, year-end accounts, and management accounts.
  • Skilled in accounting software Digita, Xero & Sage.
  • ACCA fully qualified or part qualified .
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
