About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join our team at The Hillingdon Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients across various settings, including outpatients and orthopaedics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments of patients with diverse or complex presentations/multi-pathologies
  • Formulate and deliver individualized physiotherapy treatment programs based on specialist knowledge and evidence-based practice
  • Take delegated responsibility for managing patients with particular conditions and provide specialist physiotherapy assessment and treatment plans
  • Develop and implement comprehensive discharge plans, ensuring patients receive optimal care and support
Requirements
  • Degree or Graduate Diploma in Physiotherapy
  • Health Professional Council Registration
  • Evidence of post-graduate courses in relevant field
  • Clinical experience in NHS or similar health service across a range of settings
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in expanded specialized skills
  • Understanding of professional standards of practice - national and local
  • Understanding of clinical governance and implications for the service
Desirable Qualifications
  • Membership of a professional network, National or Regional Network
  • Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
  • Attendance at Clinical Educators Course
  • Experience of supervision and education of less experienced staff, students or assistants
  • Experience of running/participating in audit and projects
