We are seeking a Data Partnerships and Sourcing Director to take responsibility for building and securing trusted relationships with the Network Operators, carriers and other data providers. The successful candidate will have a strong background in network and identity data, privacy and a technical and commercial understanding of APIs and HLR access.


The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing and negotiating data sourcing agreements, extending to outsourcing relationships where XConnect is hosting carrier and network data to enable routing of messaging, voice, RCS and identity services.The role will develop and nurture new and existing supply relationships to allow XConnect to meet our goals of providing industry leading number information services.

 

Your Key Responsibilities will be:


  • Supplier Development
  • Data Partner Identification
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Partnership Management
  • Commercial leadership & support
  • Reporting including keeping records of partner and customer conversations and documents, maintained in XConnect’s business support systems.


 We are looking for:


  • Minimum 5 year’s commercial/sales experience in hi-tech environment (telecoms experience a definite advantage).
  • Ideally experience working in an SME with a “sleeves up” attitude.
  • Experience working in a company with commitment to a metric-driven, quantitative sales process with demonstrable results.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (including presentation skills).
  • Detailed knowledge of API, database and operator signalling technologies a distinct advantage.
  • Home office, London HQ and international travel working environments.
  • Sector experience in Telecoms, Business Messaging, CPaas/UCaas, Identity and/or Fintech.
  • Excellent communication skills in a global/international environment.
  • Ability to build excellent relationships both internally and externally.
  • Fluent English plus additional language preferable.


Due to the nature of this role, this position is likely to involve occasional overseas travel to meet with Customers, suppliers or attend industry events.


This role works alongside the Sales Team and reports to VP Global Sales.
