Data and Analytics Manager

As a Data and Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for developing dashboards leveraging tools like Looker Studio, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console, as well as other analytics tools. You will transform complex datasets into actionable insights that shape comprehensive digital marketing strategies.
You’ll oversee the maintenance and implementation of tracking systems, work closely with the wider team (SEO, PPC, social media, etc) and collaborate on strategies designed to achieve maximum client growth. Your expertise in analytics will be instrumental in optimising performance and delivering measurable results.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Data-Driven Insights
- Provide key insights into online user behaviour to inform strategic, data-backed decisions for our clients.
- Evaluate campaign performances (e.g. email and social media) and deliver actionable recommendations for improvement.
Collaboration & Strategy
- Work cross-functionally with other teams to refine client strategies and achieve business objectives.
- Support Account Management teams with strategic insights that align with client goals.
- Complete bespoke analysis and research projects as and when required.
Reporting and Optimisation
- Oversee the creation and delivery of weekly and monthly performance reports, ensuring clarity and accuracy.•Develop reporting infrastructure by automating processes with AI and other advanced technologies.
- Set up and maintain robust tracking systems to capture critical customer online behaviour data.
- Communicate technical insights clearly to clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals and delivery.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Advocate for a “Test & Learn” culture to drive ongoing innovation and optimisation.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, offering recommendations to enhance workflows, processes, and services.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Experience
- Proven experience in digital analytics, with a track record of delivering impactful insights.
- Expertise in data tools such as Looker Studio, Google Analytics (including GA4), and Google Tag Manager.
- Hands-on experience in creating and maintaining dashboards and transferring/manipulating data.
Knowledge
- Strong understanding of analytics best practices and digital marketing’s impact on online performance.
- Familiarity with “Test & Learn” methodologies and the ability to drive continuous improvements.
Skills & Abilities
- Analytical and creative thinking to support and enhance digital marketing strategies.
- Proficiency in interpreting data and translating it into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commercial mindset.
- Exceptional time management and prioritisation skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interpret technical insights into client-friendly narratives.
