Description
The Purchase Ledger Clerk will be responsible for:
- Processing invoices and credit notes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Performing monthly supplier statement reconciliations.
- Handling purchase ledger queries promptly and professionally.
- Assisting with month-end processes and reporting within the Accounting & Finance department.
- Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc tasks as required.
- Ensuring supplier details are kept up to date in the system.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance team.
- Complying with all company procedures and controls.
Profile
A successful Purchase Ledger should have:
- Proven skills in handling Purchase Ledger tasks.
- Proficient use of finance software and MS Office suite.
- Excellent numerical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
