**Purchase Ledger Clerk - Requirements**
- Ideally will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within a Purchase Ledger (Accounts Payable) Role.
- Previous experience gained within a process based fast-paced manufacturing / FMCG environment and liaising with different departments within the business.
- Great communication skills at all levels.
- Organised, pro-active and able to work in a methodical manner.
- Excellent attention to detail.
**Purchase Ledger Clerk - Responsibilities**
- Processing purchase ledger/ supplier invoices, ensuring invoices match goods/services received) through to running payment, BACS runs for approval and supplier statement reconciliations.
- Process ad-hoc payment requests through the bank and post to the ledger (Expenses, proformas etc)
- Monitor and control expenses - identifying cost-saving opportunities where possible.
- Accounts/ Bank Account reconciliation / Allocating payments
- Liaise with department who deal with invoice queries
- Create reports for Management to demonstrate cash flow projections based on activity.
- Other tasks relating to the support of the Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger Team.
