Client Details

Our client is a prominent player in the FMCG sector, operating on a large scale with a workforce of over 1000 employees. Based near Hook Norton, they are recognised for their commitment to sustainability and high-quality products, whilst maintaining a strong market presence in the industry.

We are now supporting them with temporary Logistics Assistant who will be an integral part of the logistics team, supporting the smooth running of the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) department with efficiency and precision. This role is based near Hook Norton, Oxfordshire and requires a strong team player with excellent organisational skills.

Description

The Logistics Assistant will be responsible for the following:

  • Support the logistics team in daily operational tasks
  • Manage inventory and maintain accurate stock records
  • Assist in the coordination of deliveries and shipments
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Liaise with suppliers and transport companies
  • Coordinate with other departments within the company
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of logistics activities
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics department

Profile

A successful Logistics Assistant should have:

  • A strong understanding of warehouse and logistics operations within the FMCG industry
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication and team working abilities
  • Proficiency in using logistics and inventory management software
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving
  • hands on and training will be provided for FLT
  • able to do local deliveries using the company van
