About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Business Development Manager to join our team at OES, based in St Asaph, North Wales, covering North Wales and Cheshire. This is a new business role focused on generating opportunities across North Wales and Cheshire. The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in building rapport with key decision-makers, developing pipelines, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities from a list of prospects
- Generate leads by cold calling, canvassing, and using social media platforms such as LinkedIn
- Set own appointments
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers to drive pipeline development and achieve sales targets
- Work closely with the Managing Director to align growth activities with company goals
Customer Engagement:
- Confidently engage with clients over the phone, presenting products and services clearly and effectively
- Listen to customer needs and ask insightful questions to identify solutions
- Provide excellent customer service by managing client inquiries and following through on commitments
About you:
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 2 year of B2B experience in business development
- Experience in securing sales and generating appointments
- Previous experience in the telecoms industry
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to listen and ask insightful questions
- Self-motivated, focused, and target-driven with a positive attitude
- Confident in speaking with people over the phone/teams and building relationships
