Our Client is a rapidly growing SME developer who has mandated us to onboard an ambitious Land Manager to step up or an experienced Senior Land Manager looking to move away from a PLC.


You will be able to work collaboratively with the department to maximise the identification of land opportunities and support the group-wide land strategy. Being able to provide market information on the availability of land, site sizes, the number of potential sites, their location and value, taking the lead on all land acquisitions across the Northern Home Counties.


The ideal candidate will be able to maintain and expand the region’s network while managing relationships with relevant external bodies, including architects, planning consultants, and land agents.


Key responsibilities:

  • Lead, inspire, and communicate effectively with employees to ensure they are motivated to perform at their best, aligning with the company’s goals and delivering high-quality results.
  • Efficiently oversee the land function to implement best practices, control costs, maximise revenue generation, and enhance the department’s contribution to operating profit while increasing overall value.
  • Serve as a key liaison between the land department and other internal teams to optimise opportunities and strengthen regional relationships, supporting the land acquisition process.
  • Ensure land procurement aligns with annual budgets and forecasts, adhering to all requirements and compliance standards for successful land acquisition.
