The Role

Wilson Tool International (Europe) Ltd has an opportunity for a HR Administrator to join our Swindon manufacturing facility for an initial 6-month contract.


This role will provide administration and first line employee support to Swindon employees and the HR team. The primary hours for this role would be 8am until 4pm Monday to Thursday and 8am until 3pm on Fridays.


Key Accountabilities

  • Assist the team with onboarding new benefits provides for January 2025 roll out.
  • Provide recruitment administration support, e.g. advertising roles, logging CVs, arranging interviews, coordinating competency testing and providing candidate feedback.
  • Absence tracking and reporting, e.g. collating return to work forms, recording absences on the trackers and escalating any concerns.
  • Maintain employee information on HR systems. (Assisting with transferring all personnel files to digital format)
  • Maintain the e-learning system to ensure safety training is delivered and refreshed.
  • Coordinate hotels, transfers and agendas for employee visits to site.
  • Create and distribute weekly newsletter for employees, including updating noticeboards with relevant information.
  • Occupational health programme coordination.
  • General HR administration, i.e. eye test letters, DVLA license checks, pay change letters, uniform and PPE ordering.
  • Coordinating internal safety audits and providing administration support on safety matters.

Person Specification

  • Previous experience within a HR Administration role. (Particularly within a manufacturing environment would be preferable, but not essential).
  • Qualified or working towards a CIPD Level 3.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly.
  • Ability to prioritise and deal with fluctuating workloads.
  • Ability to apply professionalism, tact and confidentiality.
  • High attention to detail accuracy.
  • Experience using HRIS and Microsoft packages e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel.
  • Adaptable, open to change and keen to improve processes and systems.
