Overview of the Role

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Customer Service Specialist to deliver best-in-class service to their B2B retailers and D2C consumers. This hybrid role, based in Harwell, Oxfordshire, requires a driven individual who excels in resolving customer queries, managing orders, and liaising with multiple teams to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Support: Handle pre- and post-order queries via phone, email, and live chat with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Order Management: Process customer orders across multiple systems, conduct daily order checks, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Returns Handling: Manage website returns and credits, ensuring a smooth and satisfying customer journey.
  • Fraud Monitoring: Perform daily fraud checks and take appropriate action when needed.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and address potential issues to prevent order delays.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with Area Managers and cross-functional teams to support operational goals.
  • Technical Proficiency: Use tools like SAP and Salesforce to optimise workflows and resolve customer queries effectively.


Key Requirements

  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a track record of maintaining quality and productivity.
  • Strong organisational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German (written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office; experience with SAP and Salesforce is a plus.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach and a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
  • A positive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to build strong relationships across departments.
