Role Overview:


They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director/Head of Ecommerce to head up the online retail operations and drive the digital growth strategy forward. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the E-commerce website, managing CRM initiatives, leading the customer care team, and having a significant impact on the overall digital strategy. This is a pivotal role within the company, with the opportunity to have a direct affect on the brand's online presence and customer experience.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Ecommerce Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive E-commerce strategy to drive sales, increase online traffic, and enhance the overall customer experience. Identify new opportunities for growth and expansion in the digital space.
  • Website Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the E-commerce website, ensuring it is optimised for performance, usability, and conversion. Lead initiatives to enhance site functionality, user experience, and design aesthetics.
  • CRM Management: Develop and implement CRM strategies to optimise customer engagement, retention, and loyalty. Utilise customer data and insights to personalise marketing efforts, improve customer segmentation, and drive sales.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the customer care team, providing guidance and support. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture focused on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor E-commerce performance metrics and KPIs, analysing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Provide regular reporting and insights to senior management, informing strategic decision-making.
  • Partnership Management: Collaborate with internal teams, external agencies, and technology partners to drive E-commerce initiatives forward. Manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution of E-commerce strategies.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the E-commerce budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support growth objectives and deliver measurable results.



Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in E-commerce management in a B2C or DTC industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Deep understanding of E-commerce best practices, digital marketing strategies, and CRM principles.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive strategic decision-making.
  • (Nice to have) Experience migrating an Ecommerce platform and using different platforms.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
