Our client is now seeking a Philanthropy and Partnerships Team Leader to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Benefits

- Salary of £53,000 per annum
- Annual leave entitlement of 22 days per year plus 8 paid public holidays per year

The Role

As a Philanthropy and Partnerships Team Leader, you will lead a team to build strong relationships with key donors and secure major funding to support our client’s mission.

Working closely with the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships, you will drive the development and delivery of strategies to grow major gifts and secure long-term support for the charity.

You will develop and execute a major gifts strategy, set clear targets and manage an annual budget to ensure growth in income.

Additionally, you will manage a portfolio of high-level donors, including institutional funders, to secure substantial gifts, and work collaboratively with the CEO, Trustees and other stakeholders to cultivate new opportunities.

Your role will also involve:

- Leading a team of Relationship Managers
- Overseeing fundraising activities and supporter events
- Representing the Philanthropy and Partnerships team at key meetings and forums
- Ensuring adherence to legislation and internal policies

About You

To be considered as a Philanthropy and Partnerships Team Leader, you will need:

- Experience of fundraising from generous individuals and trusts
- Experience building effective long-term relationships and influencing with Major Donors
- Experience leading a successful team and working at a strategic level
- Knowledge of philanthropy in the UK and trends in the sector
- Knowledge of budget preparation and control
- An understanding of the provisions of GDPR legislation and the implications for fundraising
- To be educated to degree level
